About

SmartEnEf is an educational project that aims to ensure that the European Union (EU) prioritizes success in vocational education and training (VET) and advocates for education in the field of energy efficiency in buildings and the development of green skills for all students. The aim of the project is to develop an innovative curriculum for the establishment and maintenance of an energy efficiency system in buildings, in vocational schools, in order to better predict and implement energy savings in buildings. The project plan is to develop a new and creative educational platform for VET students to address issues that may arise when establishing and maintaining an energy efficiency system in buildings, and teaching material for integrating this software into relevant vocational training programs and the preparation of teaching materials.
SmartEnEf intends to create and test the effectiveness of a digital educational platform containing educational resources related to the establishment and maintenance of an energy efficiency system in buildings. This will enable teachers to use and apply it for educational purposes without excluding anyone. The platform will be categorized as a digital innovation and will serve as a comprehensive guide for upper secondary schools. The aim of Digital Innovative Solutions for Building
Energy Efficiency in VET is to address the lack of modern, first-class teaching materials for vocational education in different countries. Working together with project partners and other stakeholders in vocational education and industry, the project will achieve its goals. SmartEnEf will play a decisive role in bringing the EU closer to achieving its goals by offering modern and digitalized teaching materials on energy efficiency in buildings that will be accessible to all students. This initiative will be an important milestone in achieving the desired goals. The project’s goals are closely linked to environmental protection and the fight against climate change. The implementation of energy efficient practices is the only approach to combating
climate change. Proper education of students is essential to achieving this goal. Therefore, increasing the attractiveness of vocational education and training (VET) should be a top priority in order to help VET students expand their knowledge.
Finally, the digitalisation of VET and training activities is key to innovation in this area. SmartEnEf therefore aims to establish itself as an online platform that offers well-designed, attractive non-formal learning. Overall, the project revolves around
important EU values such as the need to combat climate change, non-formal educational practices, active participation in society, the development of digital literacy skills and competencies, environmental skills, digital transformation and
opportunities for inclusion through international cooperation.
